No backorder service can guarantee success. The domain owner may renew it, or another registrar may acquire it first. However, if we fail to acquire the domain, you receive a full refund of both the registration fee and the service fee.
The total cost is the domain's registration fee (which varies by TLD -- for example, .com is typically around $10-15) plus our $99.00 service fee. This covers the monitoring, automated registration attempt, and one year of domain registration.
Once acquired, the domain is registered under your name. You can manage DNS records directly from your dashboard, set up registrant information, and transfer the domain to another registrar at any time using the provided auth code.
Yes, you can cancel an active backorder from your dashboard at any time. Upon cancellation, the domain registration fee is refunded. The service fee is non-refundable on cancellations.
If the domain owner renews their domain (preventing us from acquiring it), auto-renew will automatically place a new backorder for the next expiry cycle. This way you don't lose your place. You can toggle auto-renew on or off at any time from your dashboard.
